First you will need to get your Alamo Colleges District Email Password. This password is made for you by the school.
How to Get Email Password
- Log into ACES
- Click on Student Self Services Card click on Student Services Hyperlink
- On this page click under the Student Section Student Profile
- This will bring up your student profile in Banner. Click on the four squares on the left of the Alamo Colleges District logo.
- Click on Banner to bring down the Student menu option.
- Click on student and this will give you the option to View Email Password
- Click on View Email Password. This will launch a new page. Move the mouse over to Show Password on Email Password and it will show you the password to the student email. (If you select and copy the password make sure you aren't selecting an extra space at the end)
Logging Into Adobe
- Go to https://www.adobe.com/ and click sign in or open your Adobe Creative Cloud Application
- Enter your Alamo Colleges Email address ([email protected]) and click Continue
- It will take you to another log in page. For this login you do not use your whole email, just the username part before the @.
- For the top entry you will put "root\username" (Example: root\jdoe123)
- The password is the ACES Email password you retrieved in the previous steps
Trouble shooting Tips:
- Make sure you are using the backslash \ instead of forward-slash /
- Make sure there is no space character at the end of your password.
- Remember to ask the instructor or tutors for help.
- If you are able to log in but cannot access the apps notify your instructor.
